Meeting with elected officials can be intimidating, especially when we introduce issues that impact our immigrant community. This introductory training will walk you through how to request a meeting, and how to prepare for and hold a meeting with elected officials and their staff. Lastly, this training will provide best practices to ensure follow-through and tips for sustaining a relationship with the elected official you meet.
