Manal Ali joined the ILRC in October 2022 as the Senior Manager for the New Americans Campaign (NAC). Manal’s non-profit career began at the International Rescue Committee (IRC), where she became a Department of Justice (DOJ) Accredited Representative and managed the legal services program in Oakland, CA. She assisted refugees and immigrants in obtaining naturalization, permanent residency, and reuniting with their families. Before joining the ILRC, Manal worked as an Asylum Officer with USCIS (the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) in San Francisco, CA. Manal is a Bay Area native and received her undergraduate degree from California State University East Bay, where she studied Political Science.
